Thunderbolt withdrawals: the rule that comes before any payout

Before Thunderbolt processes a single withdrawal request, one condition has to be met regardless of how the deposit was made or which bonus, if any, was involved. Missing it is the most common reason a request stalls.

Payout gate

The rule that blocks a withdrawal before it starts

No withdrawal request is valid at Thunderbolt until the account's current deposit has been wagered at least once, in full, regardless of the payment method used or whether a bonus was attached. Submitting a request before that condition is met simply won't process, and the wagering requirement resets only once the balance drops back below R1.

If the withdrawal in question involves winnings from a free or no-deposit bonus specifically, a separate layer applies on top of that general rule: the account needs at least one real-money deposit of R50 or more, and that specific deposit carries its own one-time rollover before any free-bonus winnings can be released. Skipping this step is one of the most common reasons a first-time withdrawal gets held up longer than expected.

Payout methods

Three methods actually pay out

Thunderbolt accepts 13 deposit methods, including Visa, Mastercard, EFT variants, NeoSurf and several crypto rails, but only three of those methods are actually usable for withdrawals: Bitcoin, PayZ and Wire Transfer. Anyone depositing by card, Skrill, Neteller or most other crypto options needs to pick one of those three specifically when it's time to cash out, since the deposit method itself won't be offered as a payout option.

All withdrawals are subject to an audit, so the same identity and proof-of-address documents get requested regardless of which of the three payout methods is chosen, with crypto withdrawals additionally requiring a selfie holding the ID document. Verification typically happens once, before the first successful withdrawal, rather than being repeated on every request afterward.

Account activity

What happens if the account goes quiet

Any account that hasn't been logged into for 6 months is classified as inactive, and Thunderbolt removes any remaining balance from accounts in that state. That's a separate risk from the withdrawal rules above: a player could clear the wagering requirement and still lose a balance simply by not logging back in for half a year, so an occasional login matters even between active playing sessions.
